Role Description

We’re looking for a junior to mid level recruiter to support hiring across our Australian market, with exposure to global recruitment. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers, deliver a standout candidate experience and help attract the people who will strengthen both our performance and our culture.

Key Responsibilities
End-to-end recruitment, including headhunting, CV screening and interview scheduling through reference checks and offers for primarily the Australian market, but with exposure to global as well.
Deliver an exceptional candidate experience across all stages of the hiring journey.
Continual and proactive LinkedIn Recruiter talent searches and pipelining to support our planned growth and high performance culture.
Recruitment process optimisation and AI enablement; including hiring manager training, organisation of internal resources and our ATS (TeamTailor) for more efficient and accurate processes, tracking, reporting and measurement.
Partner with hiring managers to train and support them through the recruitment process by consultation, sharing market insights and best practices.
Support key employee lifecycle moments including inductions, Koalaversaries, Gumnut Awards and new joey starter packs.
Assist in the ongoing development of the Koala Internship Program and academic partnerships.
Manage Australian contractor documentation and compliance requirements.
Support TA projects across areas like recruitment automation, DE&I initiatives, benchmarking, external talent partnerships and EVP, assisting with research, documentation and presentation materials.
Build and maintain external networks to strengthen employer brand visibility and future talent pipelines.
Ideal background
To be considered for this role you must have 3+ years’ experience in talent acquisition, preferably end to end recruitment from a combination of agency and internal start-up across a broad range of roles. More than anything you must be an ambassador of the Koala culture - this means you embody our values, and are always on the lookout for future A Players to join our Treehouse. You’re humble yet driven, not afraid to get your hands dirty and you genuinely care about people and our planet.
Familiarity with an ATS (Teamtailor preferred), GSuite and LinkedIn Recruiter, and bonus if you’re already leveraging AI in recruitment!
